Find Your Peace: The Kabuki Springs and Spa – The Urban Oasis

Walking up and down the twisted roads of San Francisco is one of America’s great strolls. It’s not easy, notoriously steep streets that connect to each other in idiosyncratic ways that lead from bridge to bay. The reward is worth the effort and aside from Manhattan and perhaps New Orleans, the best walkability in America.

Preparation is key, the right shoes, the right socks and the right public transportation is crucial. As is recovery. San Fran has plenty spots to unwind and heal yourself after traversing it’s challenging streets.

A must go that we’ve frequented for decades, Kabuki Spa and Springs in the Japantown section of Lower Pacific Heights is a perfect place to recharge.

They have been open for nearly 50 years and their most recent remodel was in 2018.

The prices are very affordable for the bay area and once inside, you feel like you’ve entered a luxury spa.
